Turkish Airlines Euroleague hopeful PAOK BC added more size just weeks before the start of the Qualifying Round by inking center Martynas Andriuskevicius to a one-year contract, the club announced Thursday. Andriuskevicius (2.18 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Meridiano Alicante, where he played for the last four years. He averaged 7.8 points and 5.6 rebounds in 34 Spanish League games last season. Andriuskevicius started his career with Zalgiris, to which he led to win the first-ever Euroleague Junior Tournament at the 2003 Final Four. He helped Zalgiris in the 2004-05 Euroleague, averaging 1.5 points and 1.1 rebounds. He won the Lithuanian League and the Baltic League titles that season. He has also played for Cleveland and Chicago of the NBA, as well as for Dakota of the NBA Development League. Andriuskevicius has also been a member of the Lithuanian national team and won the bronze medal at the 2010 FIBA World Championships.
