Aris continued its recent youth movement by signing highly-touted scorer Adrian Oliver to a two-year contract. Oliver (1.93 meter, 23 years old) is the fourth player the club has signed directly from the NCAA ranks in recent weeks joining guard Dan Mavraides, swingman Sergio Kerusch and big man Sam Muldrow. Oliver arrives from San Jose State University, where he led the Western Athletic Conference and ranked third in the NCAA in scoring last season with 24 points per game. It was the second season in a row in which Oliver was among the NCAA's top five scorers. He was also named to the All-WAC First Team in each of the last two seasons. Oliver finished his college career as the Spartans’ second-best all-time scorer with 1,750 points and established school records for most points in a single season and single game.
