Panathinaikos close to Pat Calathes

As reported by Superbasket.gr, Panathinaikos is close to landing Pat Calathes. The small forward will arrive in the Euroleague reigning champions despite Stratos Perperoglu renewed his contract with the team for one more season.
Calathes had a terrific season with Kolossos Rhodes with whom he averaged 14ppg and 8.1rpg in A1 and was named "Most Improved Player of the Year".

The arrival of Calathes could mean the departure of Romain Sato. The African forward won't accept the cut in the payroll and is close to leaving the team.
