Panathinaikos, Romain Sato on his way to leave?

According to Basketblog.gr, Panathinaikos and Romain Sato may part ways in the summer. PAO is having some financial problems due to the crisis in Greece and will cut its budget for the coming season. Former Montepaschi Siena forward has another year of contract with the Greens and should gain around €1.8M next season. Panathinaikos will ask to Sato to cut his salary but if he declines the two parts will break the agreement.

Panathinaikos and Olympiacos also are 'fighting' on the market for Pat Calathes. The player had a great season with Kolossos Rhodes with whom he averaged 14.3ppg and8.1rpg.

So far, Panathinaikos seems to have a little advantage because it will offer to Pat the chance to play along his brother Nick, one of the revelations of the season for the Greens.
