Olympiacos, another serious injury for Vasilopoulos

Olympiacos forward Panagiotis Vasilopoulos will miss the rest of the Top 16 and perhaps more after suffering a leg injury in practice on Friday. Vasilopoulos has only recently returned from back surgery that caused him to miss the entire Euroleague regular season. He played a total of eight minutes in two Euroleague games since his return. An initial diagnosis expects Vasilopoulos to be sidelined through March, giving him an outside chance of being fit to return during the Quarterfinal Playoffs. The 26-year-old forward in in his sixth season with the Reds and has played in a total of 95 Euroleague games.
