Ioannis Kalampokis inks with Ikaros

Ioannis Kalampokis signed a 2-year deal with Ikaros. The 32-year old guard, who won the bronze medal in last summer's Eurobasket with the Greek national team, decided to accept the offer from the newcomers of the Greek A1 and become Ikaros' most recognizable transfer in the club's history. Kalabokis had several offers both from Greece and abroad but Ikaros pressing and their will to sign him, lead to the conclusion of the agreement.

Kalampokis who spent the last 3 seasons with Panionios playing with him in Euroleague and Eurocup, has also played for Olympiakos, AEK and PAOK and for the next two years he will be wearing Ikaros jersey to help them in their effort to establish themselves in the big league of Greece.
