Aggelou to renew with Trikalla 2000

Vaggelis Aggelou, head coach of Trikalla 2000 will be at the helm of the Greek team in the A1 next season as well. Aggelou stepped in November after coach Christopoulos was sacked and he managed to save the team of Trikalla 2000 from relegation and help them stay in the A1 league.

It seems that Aggelou and the administration of Trikalla 2000 agreed on the budget of the team for next season as their mission now becomes even more difficult with strong teams like Ilisiakos and the veterans of Peristeri returning to the A1 league. Aggelou was also head coach in AEK Athens and has been the assistant coach of Dusan Ivkovic in Dynamo Moscow and Panionios, of Panagotis Giannakis in Maroussi and of Milan Minic in Aris.
