AEK banned from registering new players
Dopo Avellino anche l'AEK è stato sospeso dalla FIBA

According to Sport24.gr, AEK Athens was banned by FIBA from registering new not EU players since the Greek club will not pay its debts (the amount is around €320.000).
The FIBA obliged two months ago AEK to pay €115.000 to its former player (Bourousis, Kalampokis, Matos and Magounis) and their agents. After two months the club did not pay them so now it will be risking a fine for other €100.000. Moreover AEK was sentenced last autumn to pay €105.000 to Pavic taking the total amount to €320.000.
So FIBA banned the team from Athens to buy new foreign players extra EU since the debts will not get paid.
