AEK Athens' Michael Dixon arrested and released after being involved in a fatal car accident
A 64-year old man lost his life in the accident
Michael Dixon of AEK Athens was involved in a fatal car accident that cause the death of a 64-year old man.
The player of the Greek team was arrested and then released. Dixon was tested for alcohol and he was found clean. As reported by Sport24 also a sample of his blood was taken for further tests.
As reported by Eurohoops, Around 07.00 local time in Menidi, a suburb of Athens, Dixon’s car crushed with an other vehicle which was driven by a 47-year-old woman. The woman lost control and her car fatally injured a sanitation worker. Dixon was released from custody after giving his testimony about the incident.
The car accident occurred the day after Dixon's birthday.
