Panathinaikos' James Gist expected to miss at least two months

The forward suffered an adductor muscle injury

Greece
Immediately upon their return Spain on Thursday, the Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens medical staff administered an MRI to forward James Gist, which diagnosed him with an injury to the long adductor muscle of the left leg. In the coming days, it will be decided whether or not to treat the injury through therapy or surgery. The likelihood is that he will miss at least two months with therapy and as many as four months with surgery. Gist, 30, is in his fifth season with the Greens. He averaged 10.7 points and 4.7 rebounds in the first seven Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games this season.
