The vice-president of Panathinaikos, Manos Papadopoulos, complained about Olympiacos’ defense.
At the draw for the referees of Basket League's (Greek championship) 18th Round he said "we need to see what is going on and who is to blame. You (Central Referees' Committee) for lack of education at your members or them, who are not following the rules. The thing is we have a team which beats their opponents and the refs don't whistle anything. We have a new Limoges! We also have a player, Hackett, who always holds the opposite player with the ball and he never gets a foul. Players who are beating their opponents, are highlighted as the best defenders. Teams which are wrestling are the best defensive teams in Europe! But we see that the refs don’ respect the rules".
