American guard DJ Cooper is expected to leave Russian team Krasny Oktyabr very soon and his future may be in Greece. AEK Athens has strong interest in DJ Cooper, a source told Sportando, and two sides are talking about a potential deal.

Two days ago Cooper played a fantastic game against AEK in Eurocup, scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists. Krasny lost the game but AEK was so impressed with the performance of Cooper that decided to move immediately after him.
