Aris Thessaloniki re-signs Vasileios Symtsak

Aris Thessaloniki made another move ahead of its return to the Eurocup by re-signing veteran center Vasileios Symtsak for another year, club announced Tuesday. Symtsak (2.05 meters, 34 years old) helped Aris reach the Greek League semifinals last season with 3.8 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. He made his Eurocup debut two seasons ago with Panionios Athens, for whom he played 15 games and posted 3.1 points and 3.0 rebounds. He has spent his entire career in Greece, where he has also suited up for Sporting Athens, AEK Athens, PAOK Thessaloniki, Trikala and Kavala.
