Hackett will have a workout with Knicks: I had a contact with PAO
The Italian guard will not play in Italy next season
Daniel Hackett will fly to the USA today and he will have a workout with the New York Knicks, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Italian combo guard left Olimpia Milano after a year and half and ruled out he will play in Italy next season.
“I don’t know what will happen. I will try to be in the best shape possible for the workout. My future is not in Italy. I think it is a good choice for me to play abroad and in Euroleague” Hackett said. “I know Djordjevic since time and he is a friend of my agent. Panathinaikos is searching for guards on the market and I can’t deny we had a contact. On July 18 I will be back in Italy and I will decide my future” added Hackett.
