Perperoglou likely to remain with Efes despite Olympiacos' interest
The small forward will likely remain with the Turkish team
Olympiacos was talking with Stratos Perperoglou trying to bring him back to Piraeus.
The Greek small forward has one year remaining on his contract with the Turkish powerhouse.
The Reds' proposal (not official offer, since they didn’t reach to that point) was to give him around 400.000 euros per season - while his contract with Efes for next season is 900.000 euros. What happened, according to sources, was that Efes told Perperoglou he could leave for free. But Efes was not willing to buyout his final year of his contract. And he decided to remain in Turkey.
