Vezenkov may withdraw from the NBA Draft
Agent for Aleksandar Vezenkov, Nick Lotsos, spoke with Sportal.bg about the Bulgarian youngster of Aris Thessaloniki.
Vezenkov entered his name into the NBA Draft but he is likely to withdraw and declare again next season: "We will decide by June 15 whether to stay or to abandon the draft".
Vezenkov will remain in the NBA draft if there are chances for him to finish in the lottery.
Lotsos added that several teams in Europe are interested in Vezenkov but that “it is too early to talk about”.
“So far some teams showed interest in Vezenkov but there are no concrete proposals yet. We are not in a hurry to decide the future,. We’ll consider carefully what is the best for him to develop as a player. Barcelona? It is one of the teams interested and Aleksandar is interested as well, but as I’ve said it is too early” Lotsos told Sportal.bg.
