Aleksandar Vezenkov will likely join Panathinaikos from the summer, according to sources.
The talented Bulgarian small forward was close to penning a deal with Panathinaikos last summer but he decided to remain with Aris Thessaloniki. But this summer seems to be the right one for his signing with the Greens.
Barcelona is interested in him but PAO is the front runner to secure him to a long-term deal.
Vezenkov is averaging 18.6 points per game with 7.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists in Greek top division.
