Olympiacos wins appeal, goes to Greek Cup Semifinals
The Reds go to the semifinals
As reported by SDNA.gr, The Sports Judge of ESAKE decided that Olympiakos appeal was successful and the Reds are through to the semi-finals despite losing the game in the quarter-finals at the hands of Panathinaikos (77-76). Olympiakos appealed after Panathinaikos president, Dimitris Giannakopoulos didn’t have the right to attend the game, as he was already banned. It remains to be seen whether Panathinaikos will appeal against this decision. If Panathinaikos fail with their appeal, or decide not to appeal, Olympiakos will face PAOK in the semi-finals.
