Panathinaikos close to AJ Slaughter

Panathinaikos is very close to signing AJ Slaughter for the coming season, as confirmed by the president of Elan Chalon to Journal de Saone et Loire.

Slaughter had signed a contract extension with Elan Chalon last April but with a clause that allowed him to leave if the French team did not make at least Eurocup in 2014-2015.

“We knew that there was a serious risk to see him leaving the team. We don’t have chances. We can’t compete against such big clubs” said Juillot to the newspaper.

Panathinaikos offered $350.000 to Slaughter.
