Panathinaikos' Ramel Curry out one month
The player will miss a month of action
Panathinaikos Athens must move its playoffs dream forward without one of the best per-minute scorers in the Top 16 as shooting guard Ramel Curry is expected to be sidelined for a month due to a bone bruise. Curry (1.91 meters, 33 years old) has averaged 8.1 points on 49% three-point shooting in 17 Turkish Airlines Euroleague games this season, but his numbers improved when Panathinaikos needed them most, in the first half of the Top 16. Through seven games in this phase, he was scoring 9.6 points in less than 17 minutes per game, ranking 10th among all Top 16 players in offensive efficiency. Only one other player has hit more three-pointers than Curry's 13 with higher efficency than his 59.1% in the Top 16. Curry already missed a Greek League game against Panionios Athens and is not expected to play in the Euroleague until the final games of the Top 16.
