Panathinaikos is close to RT Guinn.
The American forward spent the last seasons in Ukraine with Ferro-ZNTU and he averaged 14.4ppg and 6rpg in Superleague.
PAO was interested in Mindaugas Katelynas but the Lithuanian forward is injured and will miss at least two weeks of action.
Guinn on Facebook wrote the he hopes to sign with Panathinaikos soon.
The deal could be finalized by the end of the week, according to a source close to the situation.
