Cedevita Zagreb announces Luka Zoric

The Croatian big man returns to his homeland

Cedevita Zagreb added a valuable piece to its roster by signing experienced forward Luka Zoric on Tuesday. Zoric (2.11 meters, 31 years old) arrives from Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul, where he averaged 5.8 points and 2.9 rebounds in 23 Turkish Airlines Euroleague games last season. In his two seasons with Fenerbahce, Zoric helped the team win the Turkish League title in 2014 and reach the Euroleague Final Four for the first time in club history in 2015. Zoric started his career with Pudmika Zadar and also played for several Croatian teams, such as Zabok, Cibona Zagreb, Sanac Karlovac, Dona Dubrava Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Sibenka Sibenik and Zagreb, as well as for Union Olimpija Ljubljana of Slovenia, BS Energy Braunschweig of Germany and Unicaja Malaga of Spain, with whom he made his Euroleague debut in the 2011-12 season. He helped Zagreb win back-to-back Croatian Cup titles in 2010 and 2011. He also won the Croatian League title with Zagreb in 2011, averaging, 19.8 points and 7.3 rebounds in 19 games. Zoric is also a regular member of the Croatian national team.
