Zadar extends captain Ive Ivanov and signs Segaric

Zadar have extended their captain Ive Ivanov for another season and strengthened their squad by bringing in talented point guard Juraj Segarić, who arrived from former ABA League side Zagreb.

It is clear now that the Ive Ivanov will stay in Višnjik for another season, after the captain of Zadar decided to extend the cooperation with his club for another season. Ivanov was an important piece in the puzzle of Zadar last season, despite the injury which forced him to miss more than a month of action and to appear only in 16 games. He was averaging 8.8 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists last season and had one of the best games in the last round, when he scored 17 points and made a decisive contribution for his team to beat Union Olimpija and keep its place in the league.
The squad of Dalmatian side also got stronger on the point guard position, after they have signed youngster Juraj Segarić. The player, who was born in Zadar, arrives from Croatian capital of Zagreb, where he spent last two seasons with former ABA League side KK Zagreb. In Croatian A-1 League, he averaged 5.9 points, 3.1 assists and 2.5 rebounds in the previous season.
