Jerel Blassingame parting ways with Cibona. Arapovic to Cedevita?
Busy day for two Croatian powerhouses
Marko Arapović is leaving Cibona and could join Cedevita.
Franjo Arapović, his father said:
"Marko has decided that isn't possible for him to grow as a player in Cibona".
He added that it's not clear where will younger Arapović continue his career. However, Aleksandar Petrović, the new main operating person in Cibona has talked about his departure:
"There have been rumors for a long time that Marko has agreed to terms with Cedevita, but we will make our interests and demand a transfer fee for Marko that legally belongs to us. Still it's too bad because we offered him a 4-year contract and guranteed 25,27 minutes per game which wasn't offered to anyone so far".
Cibona is also trying to part ways with Jerel Blassingame. The American still has a 1-year left on his contract, but Petrović says they simply can't pay him, due to Cibona financial situation:
"We will offer him two paychecks he didn't get last season and some bonus money for last season and demand to part ways with him because we simply cannot pay him."
