Anadolu Efes ready to put €6M on the table for Dario Saric
The Croatian forward may move to Turkey
Anadolu Efes Istanbul will be coached by Dusan Ivkovic starting from the summer and the Turkish team is ready to be aggressive on the market to build a Euroleague contender team.
One of the Turkish powerhouse main target is Dario Saric.
The Croatian young is still unsure he will enter the NBA draft. As first reported by Jonathan Givony, Turkey or Spain are the most likely destination for the rising star.
A source told Sportando (and confirmed also by Trendbasket) that Anadolu Efes Istanbul is ready to put on the table a 5-year (rumors say that the contract could be for three years), €6M contract for Dario Saric with NBA out starting from June 2016 when he will be automatically eligible for the draft. Dario Saric is seriously considering the proposal, a source with the knowledge of the situation added to Sportando.
But Dario Saric's future depends on the agent he will choose when the Adriatic League season is over. Several European agents are approaching Saric trying to convince him to sign for them.
It is not clear the buyout that Efes is ready to offer to Cibona Zagreb to let Saric leave.
Saric is averaging 12.9ppg, 8.7rpg and 2.7apg in Eurocup and 16.3ppg, 9.1rpg and 2.9apg in Adriatic League with Cibona.
