Reggio Emilia, Trento and Sassari to withdraw from Eurocup?
The three Italian clubs decided to withdraw from their three-year agreements with ECA to play in Eurocup
Pallacanestro Reggiana, Aquila Basket Trento and Dinamo Sassari decided to withdraw from the agreement with ECA to play in Eurocup during the next three seasons, as reported by Alessandro Pediconi of Sportxpress.
The three Italian clubs had a meeting today with CONI president Giovanni Malagò and FIP President Gianni Petrucci.
After the meeting it was announced that the three clubs will continue to play in Serie A but won’t join the new Eurocup.
“There is the agreement between CONI, FIP, Legabasket and three teams” Malagò said.
