Allen Iverson still between Guaros de Lara and Indios de Mayaguez
Il giocatore è ancora indeciso sul suo futuro
The future of Allen Iverson is not decided yet. Former NBA All-Star has two offers on the table, one from Guaros de Lara (Venezuela), and the other one from Indios de Mayaguez (Puerto Rico).
With both sides claiming that their offer is the best one, at the moment, Iverson seems closer to land in Venezuela where he will pen a deal with Guaros de Lara.
The official announcement, according to sources from the South American country, say that the deal could be finalized in the next hours.
Puerto Rican team Indios de Mayaguez, as reported by PrimeraHora, said that they have spoken with Greg Moore, Iverson's agent, who told them that Iverson is ready to wait up to one week before making his choice. Indios de Mayaguez have some problems with the roster and they cannot seal the deal with Iverson prior to understand if Bimbo Carmona and Kevin Hamilton are ready to join the team since March.
"We still don't know if we will have Bimbo Carmona with us and if Kevin Hamilton will be able to part ways with his team in Germany (BBC Bayreuth). I have spoken with Greg Moore and he said that our offer is the best one and Iverson is ready to wait up to one week" said Vargas, manager of Indios de Mayaguez.
