Guaros de Lara in advanced negotiations with Allen Iverson

Guaros de Lara are in advanced negotiations with Allen Iverson. Former NBA All-Star will decide his future in the next hours.

"We are waiting for his reply at our offer. We have a contact in New York who is negotiating with his agent. There are big chance for us to sign Allen Iverson. We are in advanced negotiations" said a manager of the team, Terence Morris.

Puerto Rican team Indios de Mayaguez are interested as well in Allen Iverson. Guaros de Lara wants Allen Iverson from next Saturday.

UPDATE: Guaros de Lara informed that they will have a press conference at 2pm (Venezuelam time) without revealing the reason for that press conference. It seems that Allen Iverson is even closer to move to Venezuela.

UPDATE 2:  "The deal is 80% done. We have to finalize few details before the contract will be sealed. Our offer is way better than the one from Puerto Rican team" said Morris to Lider ed Deportes. Guaros hope to sign Iverson tomorrow.
