Marinos de Anzoategui announced the arrival of Anthony Grundy. The American player spent the season in Italy with Carife Ferrara averaging 18ppg but could not avoid the relegation of the team in Second Division.
Grundy has already played in Venezuela, in 2005 with Panteras de Miranda.
