NBL: Niagara River Lions signs 7-foot-5 big man Samuel Deguara
The center from Malta will play in Canada
Niagara River Lions, new NBL team from St.Catharines (Ontario), announced the deal with the 1991 center Samuel Deguara.
The big man from Malta, with experiences in Italy and Spain, was the number 98 choice during the last D-League draft (Erie Bay Hawks).
He spent last season with CB Ferrol (EBA league in Spain, 12.5ppg with 9.5rpg) while two years ago he played at home with Bupa Luxol, closing the year with 29.5ppg adding 21.4rpg.

He played 1 minute in his first game yesterday (defeat 118-115 against Windsor).
