Michael Sweetney overcomes depression, signs in Uruguay

After more than a year off, Michael Sweetney signed a contract in Uruguay with Urunday Universitario.
The 9th overall pick of the 2003 NAB draft scored 10 points and grabbed 18 rebounds at his debut with his new team.
The only problem is that Sweetney’s weight is 168kg.
The big man said he overcame depression before returning to action.

“I had a strong depression, I did not eat well and I did not practice” Sweetney said as reported by Solobasket.
