The big man won't retire despite several reports from Puerto Rico
UPDATE 21.24: Despite several reports from Puerto Rico, Daniel Santiago's agency, Priority Sports, told Sportando that the big man is not retiring.
Priority Sports added that the news about Santiago retiring is false.
NEWS 16.22: Daniel Santiago decided to retire at 39.
The big man was in talks with Vaqueros de Bayamon but he informed the Puerto Rican that he retires from basketball.
"We were talking with Santiago till Sunday’s night but Santiago decided not to play and retire from basketball” said the manager of Vaqueros de Bayamon Miguel Jabbar Berdiel.
Santiago has played 122 games in the NBA with Phoenix and Milwaukee averaging 3.4 points and 2.1 assists per game.
Santiago won a title in Italy with Varese and two in Spain with Malaga and Barcelona.
