Bauru wins 2014 Liga SudAmericana

Thanks to a great first half Bauru Basket are the champions in the 2014 edition of the Liga Sudamericana. After the victory in the semifinal against Malvin (103-57) the Brazilian team won the trophy winning the 'derby' in the decisive game, 79-53 the final score vs Mogi Das Cruzes.

MVP of the competition Alex Ribeiro Garcia with 12+5+8 in the final game. For the winners Hettsheimer was top scorer with 18 points, 13 points of Robert Day and 11+13 of Jefferson Andrade. Across 11 points each of Gehrke and Curnell, 8 points for Gerson Santo and only 7 points of Sharmell Stallworth after the 29 points scored in the semifinal.
