Walter Hermann scores 49 points in Argentina, wants to play World Cup
The Argentinean forward is back at highest levels
Walter Hermann wants to play in the FIBA World Cup in Spain in the summer and is doing his best to convince Argentina NT coaching staff.
The former NBA forward scored 49 points in Atenas de Cordoba’s victory over Lanus 107-80.
Hermann went 15 for 20 from two points, 3 for 6 from long range and 10 for 11 from the line. The Argentinean ended with 59 of evaluation.
“I’d love to play FIBA World Cup. If I will healthy I am ready to play. We have the same chance to win World Cup as in 2002” said Hermann who won gold medal at Olympics in 2002.
