Teenager Killed By Gunfire Following Simeon Game
Two suspects were arrested
Simeon defeated Morgan Park 53-51 at Chicago State’s gym on Wednesday, but a fight broke out during the postgame handshake lines.
The two teams were eventually ushered to their locker rooms after some pushing and shoving.
Outside the gym, shots were fired, and 17-year old Tyrone Lawson was shot and killed. Two suspects were apprehended.
Simeon is the high school of Jabari Parker, a commit to Duke and one of the top-two high school players in the country.
