Kevin Ollie to be named assistant coach at UConn
Il giocatore potrebbe appendere a breve le scarpe al chiodo
Kevin Ollie is expected to replace Patrick Sellers as an assistant coach under Jim Calhoun at UConn, according to Register sources.
The job has not been officially offered. The university will post the position today and proper procedure must be followed.
“We’re not discussing any personnel matters,” Calhoun said Tuesday night. “Right now, I think the job was posted. We’ve got to hope over the next 10, 11 days, we’ll have an opportunity to name somebody as an assistant".
Ollie started only 99 of 662 games in his career and averaged a modest 3.8 points per game, but he is widely recognized for his perseverance and heart.
