Patrick Auda chose Seton Hall
L'ala forte ha rifiutato una proposta da un top team europeo
Patrik Auda, a 6-foot-9, 225-pound power forward originally from the Czech Republic, turned down an offer to play professionally in Europe in order to play for Kevin Willard at Seton Hall.
Auda signed a National Letter of Intent and will join the Pirates in the fall for Willard’s first year at the Big East school.
“Patrik was recruited by over 50 D1 schools in the States and up until the last few days was pondering a very lucrative offer from a top European club,” Rob Orellana, head coach at the Canarias Basketball Academy in the Canary Islands, wrote in an email.
“Patrik loves the thought of playing alongside experienced Big East players who will help him adjust.”
Auda averaged 17.3 points and 9.8 rebounds in four games to make the all-tournament team at the National Prep School Invitational in February.
