Greg McDermott close to Creighton

Iowa State's Greg McDermott is close to being the new head coach of Creighton where he will be replaced Dana Altman, finished on Oregon bench.

Greg McDermott, a native of Cascade, Iowa, was introduced as the 18th men’s basketball coach in ISU history on March 21, 2006. McDermott elevated the University of Northern Iowa program to unprecedented success with three consecutive NCAA appearances before arriving at Iowa State

McDermott has already been offered and accepted the Creighton job.
