Eddie Jordan to be interviewed by Rutgers next week

Former Sixers Coach Eddie Jordan will officially talk to Rutgers about their head basketball coaching vacancy early next week. Jordan was fired as the Sixers head coach on April 15, just one year into his three year contract. Rutgers University is Jordan’s alma mater. Jordan was a member of the 1976 Scarlet Knights team that went to the NCAA Final Four. Jordan, as a junior, was named the Eastern Regional MVP that year. After he finished his seven year NBA playing career in 1984, Jordan went back to Rutgers as a volunteer assistant coach to Tom Young, his college coach.
