NMSU Aggie Jahmar Young arrested for battery on police officer
Il giocatore ha deciso di dichiararsi per il draft NBA
Jahmar Young, a New Mexico State University guard, was charged Sunday by Las Cruces Police with battery on a police officer. Details of the incident were not immediately available.
Young, 23, was booked into the Doña Ana County Detention Center and released on bond the same day.
The Baltimore native recently declared for the NBA Draft this summer.
In 2008, Young was convicted of battery and assault after an on-campus incident in which Young was accused of exposing himself to a woman in campus housing in August 2007. Young accepted a plea deal that allowed him to avoid jail time and received a one-year deferred sentence and unsupervised probation. Fifteen hours of community service and completion of a sexual harassment awareness course were also ordered as part of the deal.
The player said he will hire an agent and is committing fully to his declaration for the NBA draft.
