UNC Asheville’s Kenny George was the tallest player in the NCAA at 7-foot-7 inches tall. Sadly George suffered an infection and had to have his right foot partially amputated in 2008. Last fall there was talk he would come back as a volunteer coach, but he remains in his hometown of Chicago.
