Blair, Thabeet Share Player Of The Year Award

NBA prospects Hasheem Thabeet from Connecticut and DeJuan Blair from Pittsburgh have been selected co-players of the year in the Big East, the Associated Press is reporting.

The 6-foot-7 Blair averaged 15.6 points and a league-leading 12.4 rebounds while shooting 59.6 percent from the field.

The 7-3 Thabeet, the Big East's defensive player of the year the past two seasons, averaged 13.6 points, 10.8 rebounds and 4.5 blocks.
