Thabeet Earns Big East Defensive POY Honors

Hasheem Thabeet from Connecticut has been named the Big East Defensive Player of the Year for the second year running, the Associated Press is reporting.
Thabeet pulled down nearly 11 rebounds a game and averaged 4.5 blocked shots in addition to scoring 13.6 points.
