The reports we have about the ongoing federal investigation into the corruption in college basketball recruiting reveals that it is actually getting bigger by the day. This time, it is getting more interesting. It could be recalled that the investigation which is being conducted by the FBI has led to some people in the system being arrested. They include four assistant basketball coaches, and they are, Tony Bland of USC, Lamont Evans of Oklahoma State, Book Richardson of Arizona and Chuck Person of Auburn. In the same vein, head coach Rick Pitino has been sacked from his duty, while athletic director Tom Jurich is also about to be sacked.
However, the whole saga took a new turn last week. Though expected by some people, the U.S. Attorney’s Office came out last week to announce that there have been some indictments in the investigation. The FBI followed this up with a statement that the probe will be continued.

It was after the statements from the two bodies involved that many people got interested in the debacle. Now, those who are closer to the investigation have come out to say that more indictments are still being expected. So, the best basketball betting tips for the next week that will back more arrests will most likely go home with some money.
The whole story is that the federal ministry instituted a charge against the assistant to a school, accusing him conniving with some representatives from Adidas to get students to attend particular schools. In the cases, the ministry accused the assistants of bribing parents of basketball prospects with money from Adidas, so as to arm-twist them to send their kids to particular schools. After investigations, the school in question was identified as Louisville. But before then, being able to spot the school could have been the best basketball bets.
Before the coach was fired, he was given a letter which stated that his firing is justified by the pattern of action he has taken. This was described as inappropriate behavior.
One significant event in the entire process of the investigation is that a five star prospect that pledged to North Carolina last week was among those whose coach were arrested. The name is Nassir Little, and he posited that he will sign for the Tar Heels whenever the signing period starts. But before then, the FBI has revealed evidence that showed that the lad was already being pushed to Arizona or Miami.
The big question now is, if fresh arrests would be made, who and who would be arrested?
