NCAA UNDERGROUND 2017 - Five players to follow....

....in tonight Tourney's games.

NCAA
PG – IAN BAKER (NEW MEXICO STATE) – Great leader and top scorer for the Aggies. He’s a 6-0 scoring point who loves responsibilites and got amazing feeling for clutch shots. Knows how to mix individual initiatives and team plays, plus has got that instinct you cannot teach to create his own shot even in situation where the offense hasn’t created nothing for him. His main defensive mission is to be out of any foul trouble. In the offense, he keeps always under control the court, teammates and the basket with consistency.

SG – JEREMY HOLLIMON (TROY) – Trojans coming from 6 consecutive wins but tonight the streak looks like will be over. But also tonight when they will need a sparkle off the bench look for jersey number 2. He made his conference the FUN Belt this season and his technical arrogance in scoring inside and outside the paint will be instrumental for every run they can make. Maybe 6-2 but, in march, who really cares ?

SG – ERIK DURHAM (JACKSONVILLE STATE) – Smooth shooter at 6-3 who loves to move silent off the ball and release the three. Not really athletic but in terms of quality release in the shooting mechanic is really tough to make it better. It will be fun to watch tonight vs the Cards to keep the opposite defense honest and spread the floor.

SF – BRYNTON LEMAR (UC DAVIS) – Not so polished 6-4 slasher, who can manage the scoring load of his team and loves to create off the dribble both for teammates and for himself. He’s definitely a primary decision-maker with an amazing season in conference. Very effective when going downhill and with same confidence can hit outside the arc. Also, on defense his lateral movement and body strength make him an important presence.

C – JORDAN WASHINGTON (IONA) – He’s a real gamer. Big man needs to stay away from foul trouble and battles against the refs. His Gaels need him and his strength in low post to be effective in the NCAA Tournament. He’s got a variety of ways to score down low and make impact on the game. A real big man with interesting pro future in Europe.
