Joel Cornette, former Butler standout, passed away at 35 in his home at Chicago, as his family informed. Cornette led Butler to three appearances at NCAA tournament and in the last few years worked as agent for Priority Sports, representing players like Mason Plumlee and rookie Wade Baldwin.
An autopsy is pending to try to determine the specific cause of death.
