Tubby Smith to be Memphis Tiger head coach
Smith will replace Pastner who left for Georgia Tech last week
Former Texas Tech coach Tubby Smith has reached a deal with Memphis to become the Tigers' head basketball coach. Memphis' previous coach, Josh Pastner, left for Georgia Tech last week. Smith has taken five different schools to the NCAA tournament throughout his coaching career.
