Blue Devils raise national championship banner at Countdown to Craziness
Duke men's basketball fans caught their first glimpse of the 2015-16 squad during the program's seventh annual Countdown to Craziness presented by Delta Airlines event Saturday in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The Blue Devils took the court for the Blue/White scrimmage, consisting of two, 12-minute periods. Sophomore Grayson Allen led all players with 13 points, adding four rebounds and three steals in a well rounded effort.
Veterans Amile Jefferson and Marshall Plumlee also had solid outings as Jefferson totaled 13 points and seven rebounds while Plumlee notched 10 points and eight boards.
Freshmen Chase Jeter, Luke Kennard, Derryck Thornton, Brandon Ingram, Antonio Vrankovic and Justin Robinson all made their Duke debuts in front of a packed Cameron.
