NCAA bans Southern Methodist from post-season
Coach Larry Brown suspended for 30% of regular-season games
As reported by Jeff Goodman of ESPN, NCAA has decided to ban Southern Methodist University from 2016 post-season and has suspended coach Larry Brown for 30 percent of the team's games this season due to a lack of head coach control.
SMU will also lose 9 scolarships over the next three-years. The NCAA is expected to announce the sanctions at 11 a.m. ET on Tuesday.
