Temple hires Aaron Mckie as assistant-coach
He will come back to his alma-mater
Aaron McKie is heading back to school.
According to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, the former Sixer has agreed to become an assistant at his alma mater, Temple. There is no word yet on what role he will serve on Fran Dunphy’s staff.
A graduate of Simon Gratz High School in Philadelphia, McKie left Temple tied for sixth on the school’s all-time scoring list with 1,650 points. He was the Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Year in 1993.
